UPDATE!

I am very excited to announce that my partner (Jason Chung) and I are opening our own physiotherapy clinic in Windsor! Official opening day is December 1st, 2023 at Sport Medicine Physiotherapy. We are located within Hesman Athletics & Performance at the Windsor Outlet Mall. Here I will continue to treat both orthopaedic and pelvic health conditions.

Jason Chung is a Sport Physiotherapist who originally grew up in the Greater Toronto Area and moved to Windsor-Essex a few years ago. He earned his Master’s in Physical Therapy at Queen’s University in 2017 and recently completed a second Master’s in Sport and Exercise Medicine at Western University. Jason also went on to obtain his Diploma in Sport Physiotherapy in addition to his acupuncture certification through completing the McMaster Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program in 2017. He has had the opportunity to work with a number of sports teams including being a part of the medical staff for the Essex Ravens during their 2023 season. Jason currently serves as the Sport Physiotherapist and team trainer for the Windsor Spitfires of the OHL.

My mission

My mission is to find the root cause of your complaint (not chase symptoms). I take a biopsychosocial approach with every patient to best do this. I will teach you everything I know about what I find with the goal of eventually teaching you how to treat yourself. I believe that the purpose of going to physiotherapy is so you don’t need to go to physiotherapy!

I am currently practicing as a pelvic health, orthopedic, and an acute care physiotherapist! In order to practice in these different areas, I have continued to complete post-graduate courses. This is one of the ways I keep up with the most current research, new skills and knowledge to best serve my patients.
